Tryptone Glucose Extract Agar, 1000 ml in Alpha bottle 1000 ml, white screw cap.
Intended use: The plate count of water and dairy products. It can also be used for the detection of thermophilic bacteria in dairy products.
Typical formula (g/l)*: Meat extract 3.0; Tryptone 5.0; Glucose 1.0; Agar 15.0
Interpretation: Count all colonies and calculate the number of organisms per gram or ml of sample allowing for dilution factors.
