Intended use: The isolation of microorganisms from surfaces sanitized with quaternary ammonium compounds, phenols, hexachlorophene, formalin and ethanol.
Typical formula (g/l)*: Pancreatic digest of casein 15.0; Papaic digest of soya bean 5.0; Sodium chloride 5.0; Agar 15.0; Tween 80 30.0; Lecithin 3.0
Interpretation: After counting the colonies, subculture those of interest for identification by means of biochemical testing and/or microscopic examination of organism smears.
