Intended use: Concentrated medium for the enumeration of sulfite reducing clostridia by the MPN method in foods and water.

Interpretation: After inoculation cover the medium with a layer of sterilized paraffin and pasteurize. Blackening of the tubes is indicative of presence of Clostridium spp. Further tests should be performed for identification.
