Miclev offers sterile wipes from leading suppliers. The sterile wipes are developed to meet the high requirements for disinfection and cleaning of critical cleanroom surfaces. Sterile wipes for cleanrooms have low levels of lint and shedding. They are also engineered to have higher absorbency, better compatibility with chemicals and/or more effective cleaning capabilities.
Choosing the right sterile wipes
When choosing between different sterile wipes for your cleanroom, it is important to determine the key criteria for the environment and the application and evaluate different measurement values, including:
Recommended ISO classification - Sterile wipes with different ISO classification should be used in the corresponding cleanroom.
Shedding and linting - Determines determines the cleanliness of the sterile wipes. This is measured in particles and fibers released from the sterile wipes. The ISO recommendation for each sterile wipe is largely dependent on how clean the wipe is.
Cleaning ability - This measures the sterile wipes’ ability to remove various types of contaminants such as dust, stains, microbes and particles.
Absorption capacity - Two aspects are important: liquid absorption rate and total amount of absorbed liquid. This measures how effectively each sterile wipe absorbs liquid. Another metric measure related to absorbency is release. The wipe should not only absorb a sufficient amount of liquid but can also release the liquid in a consistent manner onto the surface to maximise the coverage of each wipe.
Softness - if you have sensitive equipment in your cleanrooms, it is important to choose the right sterile cleanroom wipe that do not damage this equipment.
The sterile cleanroom wipes in Miclev's assortment are available in several different formats, for example in different materials, sizes, pack sizes, impregnated and dry, as well as double and triple bagged. We are happy to help you find the perfect sterile wipe for your cleanroom!
