Intended use: A selective medium for the isolation and presumptive identification of Listeria monocytogenes from foodstuffs and related materials.

Interpretation: Listeria monocytogenes: blue to blue-green colonies, round, regular, surrounded by an opaque halo, diameter from 1 to 2 mm. Listeria spp.: blue to blue-green colonies, round, regular, without an opaque halo, diameter from 1 to 2 mm.
