Prepared growth medium consists of an exclusively formulated Tryptic Soybean Broth (TSB) modified with a pH indicator. The pH indicator transitions from Purple to Yellow in the presence of Geobacillus stearothermophilus bacterial growth allowing for a reduced incubation period when used in conjunction with True Indicating BIs and Inoculated Carriers. Modified growth medium offers a reduced incubation period of 24 hours for BIs and Inoculated Carriers of Geobacillus stearothermophilus when exposed to Steam or Vaporized Hydrogen Peroxide (VH2O2) processes.
